Weekly Photo Challenge: Achievement

IMG_0834Life would be dull without our dreams and goals; their achievement so sweet and satisfying. It had been a lifelong dream to visit Claude Monet’s garden at Giverny, France. This dream was fulfilled in the spring of 2011, with a magical day spent wandering amongst the splendour of the garden that Monet planted and painted. The spring bulbs, the blossoms, the wonderful house, his pond and waterlilies and bridges – on a glorious spring day it was perfection. Another thing crossed off the bucket list.
