Weekly Photo Challenge: Warmth

The warmth of a summer’s day as the busyness of Christmas and end of year activities gives way to the lazy days of summer vacation; one of the most delicious feelings in life. This year is no exception as time is spent with family relaxing on the banks of the Ovens River in Bright, Victoria.

    Love the last photo – nothing like being a kid in the summer, eating picnic food and swimming and feeling the warm sun on your head.

    Funny to see Christmas being celebrated in a warm climate – looks like great fun!

      I’ve experienced Christmas several times in the Northern hemisphere and it is lovely, but an Australian summer Christmas usually involves the outdoors and marks the beginning of summer holidays. It’s a wonderful time to stop and relax.
