“Ahh, the serenity“…one of my all-time favourite movie quotes, from the iconic Australian film The Castle. This is the line spoken when the family arrive at their very humble holiday house in Bonnie Doon. It’s a line I’ve borrowed often in my travels around the world as I come across a place of peace and tranquility. It’s a line I exhaled just this week as I walked along the Merimbula Boardwalk on my summer vacation. Ahh, the serenity.
