Weekly Photo Challenge: Fresh

I love the crisp, fresh days of Autumn that follow the dusty, dry heat of the Australian summer. It’s been a gorgeous weekend with perfect blue skies, warm sun and cool evenings. The trees in my neighbourhood are starting to work their magic.

I’m figuring that has to be in Victoria. It’s certainly not a scene seen here in Queensland. The last time I saw something similar was when I lived in the USA in the state of West Virginia — where every Fall (autumn) was a sea of colours as the maples changed colour, dropped their leaves and prepared for the onset of a long wintery blast.
Great photo and certainly gives off a feeling of freshness.

Yes, Macedon Ranges about 60km NW of Melbourne. It also reminds us of when we lived in the USA – North Carolina. We loved Fall there, especially along the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Appalachian mountains. It’s nice to have a taste of that here where we live in Australia. Thanks for your comment.

ahh yes — NC is a beautiful area, and I traversed the Parkway often. Nice to hear another Aussie with those similar experiences.
